Internet Resources for CPAs

"The CPA's knowledge is used to create information from disorganized data. The accountant organizes, classifies, and presents data so that investors, creditors, and others can make decisions based on that information. The Internet contains little 'knowledge,' but much data, and that data can be an important input to meeting client needs."

(Lynford E. Graham and Clinton F. White, The Internet as a Practical Tool, The CPA Journal, November 1995)

How to Use this Resource:

The editors of The CPA Journal have developed an extensive list of links to sources of information useful to the CPA. The list is organized by subject matter which conicides with the departments that are published in The CPA Journal. The CPA Journal welcomes additional resources which should be directed to Anthony Sarmiento. Of particular interest to tax practitioners, advisors, and preparers, is the state tax information and forms under State & Local Taxation.
